Indonesian Hajj Arrives in Makkah

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, A total of 360 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims kloter 1 from Yogyakarta Embarkation or YIA have arrived in Makkah around 13.00 Saudi Arabia time. This pilgrim from Kulonprogo began a wave of pilgrims arriving in Makkah.

The Head of Sector 7 of Misfalah Region, Ronald Paul Sinyal, was grateful that the arrival of the first worshippers in his working area went smoothly. “The worshippers have entered all rooms,” he said when he was met at Al Asalah Al Bakkiya Hote on Thursday (30/4/2026).

There were 13 buses containing 360 Indonesian pilgrims arriving at Al Asalah Al Bakkiya Hotel. Happiness, gratitude, mixed haru can be seen from the look on the faces of Hajj worshippers as they get off the bus. As the first cloter to arrive in the holy city of Makkah, worshippers received a welcome from hajj attendants to Saudi Arabia’s sharia side.

According to Ronald, today there are two clooters from two embarkations arriving and they will occupy hotels number 710 and 714 in sector 7 of the Misfalah region.

In total, there were 12 Indonesian pilgrims arriving in Makkah on Thursday (30/4/2026), namely from embarkation Yogyakarta (YIA 1), Jakarta-Pondok Gede (JKG 1), Kualanamu (KNO 1), Palembang (PLM 1), Kertajati (KJT 1), Lombok (LOP 1), Solo (SOC 1), Batam (BTH 1), Makassar (UPG 1 and UPG 2), Jakarta-Bekasi (JKS 1 and JKS 2). In total, 4,871 Indonesian pilgrims are scheduled to arrive in Makkah on Thursday (30/4/2026).

Meanwhile, as of Wednesday (29/4/2026), 54,604 Indonesian pilgrims have flown to the holy land. Of these, 52,343 people have arrived in Medina. From today, worshippers will move gradually to Makkah.
